Tesla CEO Posts Jealous Rant to Social Media

Denouncing Heroic British Diver in Despicable Terms

Many ask: “Is Elon all there?”

GOP PACs called on to “give back Elon’s tainted money.”

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Today, Citizens for the Republic (CFTR) denounced Elon Musk in the strongest possible terms for his unbelievable comment about Vern Unsworth, the heroic British diver who had a leading role in the rescue operation to save the youth soccer team trapped in a flooded cave in Chiang Rai in northern Thailand several days ago.

Elon Musk issued hateful comments on his social media toward Unsworth— who saved the lives of the 12 members of the Wild Boars, as well as their coach and assistant coach— by refuting his claims, and, and even going so far as to call him a “pedophile.”

In a CNN interview, Unsworth described Elon’s puerile involvement in the venture, saying his mini-submarine had absolutely no chance of working: “It wouldn’t have made the first 50 meters into the cave from the start point. It was just a PR stunt.” Musk is known for silly PR stunts that aid no one.

Citizens for the Republic is leading the fight to expose Elon’s disastrously ineffective government funded ventures with their campaign, #StopElonFromFailingAgain, which has received international attention for its work.

It came to light earlier this year when Elon Musk donated nearly $40,000 to Protect the House – a Republican political action committee which supports House Republicans.

“This is a despicable and disgusting reaction to an honorable rescue team’s successes and Elon’s personal failures being thrown in his face,” said a statement from CFTR. “Frankly, with all of his weird stunts and half-baked ideas and unstable comments and tweets, many are coming to question Elon’s sanity. Is Elon all there?”

“Elon Musk feels threatened by the successes of the rescue team after his mini-submarine venture failed miserably. His plans would have put innocent lives at risk. All Republican PACs that have received money from this nonsensical fraud should give it back,” the statement said.

Citizens for the Republic (www.CFTR.org) is a conservative grassroots lobbying organization dedicated to promoting the ideology and political philosophy of Ronald Reagan. Reagan established the original CFTR in 1977. In 2010, a group of Reagan stalwarts re-launched the organization. CFTR’s Sunlight Project has worked to end subsidies and expose corporate corruption. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
